Terms

Last updated: July 2026

These are the terms for wildbirdpost.com, run by Maebh Collins, trading as Wild Bird Post, Co. Louth, Ireland. Plain words, legally meant.

The waitlist (now)

Joining the waitlist is free and is not an order. It reserves your invitation to subscribe when ordering opens, in order of joining. You can leave the waitlist anytime by unsubscribing.

The subscription (from launch)

What you get. One posted envelope per month at your chosen tier: Letter Only (€10/month), Letter + Print (€15/month) or The Collector (€25/month). Prices include worldwide postage. USD amounts shown on the site are approximate; your bank converts at its own rate.

Billing. Monthly, in advance, from the date you subscribe. Gift subscriptions of fixed length (3, 6 or 12 months) are billed once, up front, and end automatically.

Cancelling. Anytime, effective at the end of the period you've paid for. Two clicks from any email, or one email to us. No minimum term, no cancellation fee.

Price changes. Your price is locked while your subscription remains active. If costs force a change, it applies to new subscriptions only.

Delivery promise

Letters post on the first Tuesday of each month from Ireland via An Post as stamped international mail, untracked. Typical delivery: Ireland 1 to 2 days, UK 3 to 5, US/Canada 7 to 12, elsewhere up to 21. If a letter does not arrive, tell us and we post a replacement free. That is the remedy we promise and the one we're proud of.

Your EU withdrawal right

If you are in the EU, you may withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days of subscribing without giving a reason, for a full refund of any period not yet posted. Email hello@wildbirdpost.com. Once a month's letter has been posted, that month is fulfilled; remaining months refund in full.

Refunds beyond that

If we get something wrong (a damaged print, a wrong tier) we fix it or refund it. We don't refund taste: if the letters aren't for you, cancel and the post stops.

The content

Letters and prints are for personal enjoyment: read them, frame them, gift them, lend them. Please don't reproduce them commercially; the artwork and text remain © Wild Bird Post / Ask About Birds.

The boring but honest bit

We are responsible for providing the subscription as described. We are not responsible for postal strikes, acts of weather or customs whims beyond our control, though the replace-it-free promise still applies. Irish law governs these terms; nothing in them reduces your statutory consumer rights.
