Wild Bird Post is run by Maebh Collins from Co. Louth, Ireland. This policy covers wildbirdpost.com. It is short because we collect very little.
Waitlist and subscription details. When you join the waitlist we ask for your name, email address, the tier you're leaning towards, whether it's a gift, and your country. We use these to send you the sample letter, tell you when ordering opens, and plan postage. The lawful basis is your consent: the box you tick when joining. Withdraw it anytime by unsubscribing (one click in any email) or emailing us.
Postal addresses. When paid subscriptions open, we will collect delivery addresses in order to post your letters. That is a contractual necessity: no address, no post.
Website analytics. If analytics is running on this site, it is Google Analytics 4, used to count visits and see which pages get read. Analytics data is aggregated; we don't use it to identify you.
Waitlist form submissions are processed by Netlify (our hosting provider) and stored securely. Email sending is handled by our email provider once the list is active. We never sell, rent or swap your details.
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely. One email to hello@wildbirdpost.com does any of these. We answer within 30 days, usually much faster.
The site itself sets no marketing cookies. When Google Analytics is running it sets its own measurement cookies; your browser's tracking protection is free to eat them, and the site works exactly the same.
